While the carton types we use recyclable and biodegradeable by its own, the layers added to make it more durable are usually made from plastic. Every single product you can find in this site can be made using green biodegradeable polymers (PLA). The difference of this material is; it degrades into nothing in a landfill around 6 months. A normal product with a plastic layer takes around 20 to 100 years, depending on the thickness and the conditions.
